This course aims at introducing the students to the British and American civilizations throughout deep and well thought lectures encompassing a significant range of political, cultural and social phases that the previously mentioned civilizations passed through. The course starts by exploring the American early history when the first European settlers migrated to the new world to the involvement of the united states in the first and second world wars. For the second semester students will be introduced to British political, social, religious and cultural history from early times to the contemporary era.
