This course is intended for first-year students (Semester 2) in veterinary sciences. The course is structured into seven chapters.
The first chapter will cover the structure of matter and electromagnetic radiation and its classifications. The second chapter will be devoted to detection devices, dosimetry, and radioprotection. In the third chapter, we will address the physical basics of radiology. Chapters 4 and 5 will focus on nuclear medicine, ultrasound, and echography. Chapter 6 will define the basics of fluid biophysics. Finally, in the last chapter, we will cover the fundamentals of geometric optics.
