The course aims at fostering the students abilities in speaking and writing in English. The main areas of interest are grammar, pronunciation, listening, reading, and writing.
The course prepares the students to write a research paper in their field of study, and/or communicate in English their studies findings when taking part in seminars, visiting English-speaking laboratories, etc. It focuses first on boosting their General English which permits them to use it in English for Specific Purposes (ESP) i.e. in their field of work.
