The course introduces students to the four skills. In particular, it sheds light on the different types of each language skill together with various tasks and activities used to assess each type. It also provides students with an overview about the new trends in language assessment; so that by the end of the course, students will:
-Know various tasks used to assess the different types of language skills.
-Differentiate between traditional and new alternatives in assessment.
