This course provides MA students with the necessary background for the foundations, the structure and institutions of the American government as well as the life of Americans vis-a-vis politics. It also explores the structure and the dynamics of American national government by providing a broad-based introduction to the ideas and institutions that shape politics in the contemporary United States.
