The M2 course subject on “Ethics and Deontology" provides the students with basic knowledge on the ethical standards and norms governing the various areas of activity within academia including learning, teaching, research and publishing with a focus on the ethics of scientific research and thesis writing. It sets the ethical duties, responsibilities, and rights of members of the academic community; what constitutes good conduct vs. misconduct within academia; and the regulations, laws, and sanctions governing the area.
