The course aims at
providing students with an intensive introduction to American and British Modernism. Students will become acquainted
with different trends, techniques, terms, and writers; learn strategies for
reading and understanding American and British Modernist literature. Thus, they
end up with developing critical skills for discussing and analysing literary
texts.
