This course is designed to familiarize students with the skills of written English language composition. The emphasis is on proficiency in the following activities: pre-writing (brainstorming, listing, free writing, keeping a journal, outlining, etc.), peer review and peer editing, self-criticism, and revision. Content, style and form, as well as English grammar, are stressed. Work will include review of paragraph writing.
