
SVISE (Life Sciences and Socio-Economic Impacts) is a methodological course designed to help students understand the interactions between developments in life sciences and their economic and social implications. Its importance lies in linking biological knowledge to practical applications, particularly in the fields of health, food security, and biotechnology, thereby supporting sustainable development.
The course also aims to develop students’ analytical and critical thinking skills by enabling them to interpret biological phenomena within their environmental and societal context. It is structured as a directed study course (Travaux Dirigés), involving research assignments and guided supervision, which helps students strengthen their academic research and methodological skills.
