This course aims at introducing the students to the ancient Western civilisation including the British and American. Throughout deep and well thought lectures encompassing a significant range of political, cultural and social phases that the previously mentions civilisations passed by. The course ends by exploring the American early history that holds the students to the first European settlers who migrated to the new world. The course is of great significance for the students of the English language, because it puts at their disposal a number of vocabularies in terms of politics, sociology, economy which enhance their English language
