This course aims at introducing ancient Greece and the Roman Empire's culture and civilization. the 4th semester represents the early history of Rome and puts focus on the social practices and developments that led to its decline, The course is of great significance for the students of the English language, because it grants them a lot of valuable information in addition to the large set of vocabulary in different domains like politics, sociology, economy which greatly enhance their English language.
