الهدف العام للقياس: يتبلور الهدف الأساسي للمقياس في توضيح مفهوم الاتصال هذا من خلال تحديد مفهومه مراحل نشأته ومن ثم توضيح أهميته في حياتنا كأفراد ننتمي لمؤسسات وكأفراد لنا علاقات مترابطة خاصة بنا مع العالم الخارجي، وقد تم تصميم المحاضرات لتخصص الهندسة المعمارية من أجل تزويد الطلاب بالمهارات اللغوية والمفردات المهمة والضرورية والتفاعل الفعال في مجموعات وتعلم مهارات سمعية وبصرية ولغوية وحتى المهارات الاتصال الشفهي، وذلك من خلال خلق مجموعة من التمرينات وأنشطة المهمة التي سيتعلم من خلالها الطالب مهارات خلق روح الفريق العملي في مجموعات ومن تم التحكم فيها في إدارة الاجتماع وكتابة محضر الاجتماع وكذا مهارات كتابة التقرير وعرض الحال .
