The aim of this course is to emphasise the importance of cultural elements in the process of foreign language teaching and learning, and to develop learners’ intercultural competence.

Students have the chance to study and do research in their own time and place and to greater extentV for free.

     Its learning objectives can include: Students will be able to write a complete argumentative essay/ dissertation using various academic online tools and websites. Students will be able to search online effectively in everyday situations. It will reduce students’ research costs and save money.

This course of Contemporary World Literature aims at providing students with an intensive introduction to contemporary Anglophone literatures. Students will become acquainted with different trends, techniques, terms and writers, learn strategies for reading and understanding literature, and develop critical skills for discussing and analyzing literary texts.

This course is designed to introduce students to the history and politics of the contemporary world. In this

course, students will learn about some of the important political, economic, social, intellectual, cultural and

religious changes that have shaped the development of recent world civilization.

At this stage students are expected to be familiar with world contemporary history and politics from a variety

of perspectives.
